Our Tour Includes:

Ben Gurion’s Tomb at Sde Boker

First up: the peaceful resting spots of David and Paula Ben Gurion in Sde Boker, right on the edge of the stunning Zin Canyon. The place where Israel’s first prime minister dreamed of greening the desert now offers breathtaking views alongside a charming peek back in history.

Ein Avdat

At Ein Avdat, we’ll team up with Medad Goren, the head of SPNI’s Ramat HaNegev Birding Center. Guided by his world-class expertise, we’ll get up close and personal with majestic griffin vultures and learn about the conservation efforts that have gone into protecting these and other birds of prey throughout Israel.

Har Hanegev Field School

Our next stop is SPNI’s field school on the edge of the Ramon Crater. This Nature Israel outpost is the perfect place to stop and fuel up before we begin the most adventurous part of our day in the untamed beauty of the Negev.

Ramon Crater Rim Hike

We’ll end our day with the stunning views from the rim of the Ramon Crater. Standing at the top of the crater puts us eye-to-eye with the birds gliding across the middle of the vast expanse.
