Israel by Foot: Hiking Israel’s Rocky Beaches – 5/7

Event Details:

Date: May 7, 2024

Time: 6:00 – 17:30 IST

Address: Bus departs from Jerusalem. Pickup from Tel Aviv and Latrun available upon request. Pickup details will be sent after registration.

Join us to explore the untamed beauty of Israel’s coastline by foot. Over the course of our day, we will embark on an unforgettable journey across three distinct ecosystems to the north of Herzliya. As we traverse the rugged terrain, you’ll witness the fascinating interplay between land and sea. Along the waterline, discover the unique challenges and advantages that shape the lives of coastal wildlife, while the cliff above offers a starkly different perspective on this dynamic environment. But the exploration doesn’t end there. Just a stone’s throw away, land that was swampland until a century ago, now turned into agricultural land, is an entirely different ecosystem. Time permitting we’ll explore the last remnants of this eco-system, a poignant reminder of nature’s resilience.
