Experience the Negev from above and below on an unforgettable day hike through the dramatic landscapes of Ein Avdat. From expansive canyon vistas to intimate desert trails, this trip blends hiking, wildlife, and natural history.

We’ll begin at Sde Boker, visiting Ben-Gurion’s Grave for panoramic views over the Zin Canyon while watching Griffon Vultures and other birds of prey riding the thermal winds. From there, we’ll descend into the heart of Ein Avdat Canyon, where towering cliffs and desert springs offer close-up encounters and insight into conservation efforts protecting this endangered species.

As we hike upward through the canyon, we’ll explore striking geology, unique desert plants, and hidden water sources, ending with breathtaking views from the canyon rim.

No prior hiking experience required—just a sense of adventure and a love of nature.
Moderate hike (3–4 km) with some steep stair climbing.
Guiding is in English.
