Bird Migration in Beit Shean Valley – 4/14 at 6am

The fishponds, restored wetlands and fields of the Beit Shean Valley are an oasis for a wide variety of bird life. Storks and birds of prey funnel up from the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley into the area and come down in search of food and rest. This area is rich with different habitats each attracting a wide variety of birds. We will spend the day exploring the area around Kibbutz Kfar Rupin in search of all these fantastic birds. No experience is necessary!

 

Bus from Jerusalem at 6:30 and returns by 18:00. Transportation from Tel Aviv is available on request.

Cost: 295 nis per person, 255 nis for members of the English Bird Club and SPNI
