Birdwatching for Beginners Spring 2025

Ever wondered how to identify a bird? Where to go to see them? What equipment you need to start birdwatching? Or even, what makes a bird a bird? This hybrid course will answer these questions and so much more!

Perfect for teens and adults, it’s a fantastic way for beginners to spread their wings and dive into this amazing hobby.

Course Details

This course consists of five sessions: three online classes and two field trips.

Online classes will take place on Mondays, October 2, October 17, and March 3, from 18:30 to 20:45.

Field trips are scheduled for Fridays, February 28 and March 7, starting at 07:00. The February 28 trip will be held at Gazelle Valley Park in Jerusalem, and the March 7 trip will take place at Kibbutz Tzora.

Cost

500 NIS per person

450 NIS for SPNI members

250 NIS for Zoom classes only
