Spring is the time for the dance of the iconic MacQueen’s Bustard in the Negev Desert, as the males display to attract a female. We will travel to their dancing grounds and try to catch them in action. Desert species such as Little Owl, Cream-colored Courser, wheatears and sandgrouse, are also possible. We will explore the grove at Berotayim and the surrounding area for migrant songbirds.
On our way home, we will stop at Yeruham Park so search for migrants around the lake.
