Late Spring Migration in Yeruham

April is peak migration season, and Yeruham Lake draws a wide variety of birds seeking food and water. With a mix of desert habitat, scrub vegetation, and wetlands, the area is home to water birds, raptors, and songbirds. We’ll explore the park on an easy 3 km walk along flat, paved paths, taking in the sights and sounds of late spring migration.

This is a bus trip departing from the parking lot on Rothschild Street, above the Nili and David Jerusalem Bird Observatory, at 6:00 AM. Pickup is also available at Latrun at 6:30 AM and in Be’er Sheva. Return to Jerusalem by 3:00 PM.

No experience necessary. Tour conducted in English.
