Early summer is the perfect time to listen and look for owls. As the sun sets over the Judean Plains, we’ll venture out in private cars to search for Long-eared Owls, Barn Owls, and perhaps other nighttime birds and mammals. This is a quiet, patient evening of tuning into the rhythms of the dark—and catching glimpses of some of Israel’s most secretive wildlife.

Ideal for bird and nature lovers of all experience levels. This outing involves light walking and is guided in English. Transportation is by private car.

Be sure to bring binoculars and a bird field guide if you have them. A small flashlight, water, and a light snack will also help make the evening more comfortable.

Cost:
Standard Rate: 110 NIS
English Bird Club Members: 44 NIS
