The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel

Governance

The Society for the Protection of Nature is an independent nonprofit organization registered in Israel and governed by the following:

A general meeting of all the members of the Society for the Protection of Nature meets at least once a year.

A council of up to 120 members, public figures, activists, and employees defines the organization’s policy and methods of operation and elects the members of the executive committee.

A Board of Directors is responsible for oversight of the organization’s policy and elects the CEO.

Management is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the association, led by the CEO.
