Summer Walk with Feathers and Fur: Gazelle Valley in June

A gentle nature walk in Jerusalem’s urban wildlife haven

Event Details

Date: June 11, 2025

Time: 16:30 – 18:00

Location: Gazelle Valley Park, Jerusalem
Exact meeting point and guide contact details will be shared after registration.

Summer is settling in and the spring migration has passed, but life in the valley is far from quiet. Join us for an afternoon walk where we’ll search for young birds learning to hunt and fly, discover butterflies and insects in the tall grass, and of course, try to spot the gazelles that give the park its name. This short, guided walk invites you to slow down and connect with nature in the heart of the city.

This walk is open to all ages (6+), and no prior experience is needed. The route is about 1 km on flat, well-kept paths. Guiding is in English.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle. A hat and binoculars (if you have them) are helpful but not required.

Cost:
Standard Rate: 55 NIS
SPNI Members: 40 NIS
