Time: 8:00 – 10:30
Location: Har Herzl, Jerusalem
Full meeting-point details and guide contact info will be sent after registration.

Winter in Jerusalem is a special time for birdlife, as thrushes and seedeaters arrive to spend the colder months in the city. On this morning walk at Har Herzl, we’ll move quietly through the landscape, listening and watching for hawfinches, chaffinches, European robins, and song thrushes, with the possibility of an unexpected sighting along the way.

We’ll take our time, stopping often to observe birds as they appear, learn how to identify them, and understand what draws these species to Jerusalem in winter. The walk is relaxed and welcoming, designed to help participants feel comfortable slowing down and tuning into the natural rhythms of the season.
