November is one of the best months for birdwatching, and the best place to witness the variety and quantity of resident and migranting birds is the Valley of the Springs! We will search the fields for a wide variety of raptors as well as such as wagtails, pipits and seedeaters. We will explore the Amud Reservoir and Safa Reservoir – the first rewilding nature sites in Israel – that attract waterfowl and shorebirds – ducks, herons, Pygmy cormorants, kingfishers and many more. We will also devote time to for resident species unique to the Valley of the Springs – Desert Finch, Dead Sea Sparrow, Namaqua Dove and more
