Witness one of nature’s greatest migration spectacles! As fall arrives, millions of birds journey through Israel on their way south to Africa. Each evening, thousands of raptors (birds of prey) settle into the trees of the Ben Shemen Forest to rest — before taking off en masse in the morning. Join us to experience this breathtaking departure firsthand.
The Route: An easy ~1 km walk along a mix of paved and dirt roads.
Who It’s For: Open to all ages — no prior birding experience needed!
