Soaring with the Vultures – 3/18 at 6am in Sde Boker and Mitzpe Ramon

Get a vulture eye’s view of the fantastic Zin Canyon and the amazing Ramon Crater on this trip to the Negev Desert. We will visit Ben Gurion’s Grave at Sde Boker and search for vultures and other birds of prey who live in the Zin Canyon, before heading down into Ein Avdat Canyon to get some closer views of the majestic Griffon Vultures and learn about the conservations projects to protect these endangered birds. We will then head to Mitzpe Ramon for lunch before having a hike along the rim of the Ramon Crater.

 

Bus will leave Jerusalem at 6:00 and picks up in Tel Aviv at 7:00 Bus returns to Tel Aviv by 17:00 and Jerusalem by 18:30.

 

No experience is necessary! Guiding in English
Easy walking on easy paths. Around 3 – 4 km in morning and afternoon.
A light dairy lunch is provided.

Cost: 483 nis per person from Jerusalem. 440 NIS per person from Tel Aviv.
