When the sun sets and the full moon takes over, the Caesarea dunes come alive! Join us for an unconventional night walk where we’ll unlock the secrets of the sands through sensory games, nocturnal tracking, and fascinating wildlife stories.
We’ll meet at Quarry Park – a charming, restored urban nature haven – before heading into the golden dunes. We’ll conquer the “Everest of the Sands” just in time to watch the sun disappear, glide down the sandy slopes, and watch the night world awaken. As darkness falls, we’ll learn to read the footprints left behind by the desert’s secretive night creatures. Come connect with nature in one of the last remaining coastal sand reserves in Israel!
The Walk: Easy 2 km trek entirely on sand.
Accessibility: The trail is not stroller-accessible.
Led by: The Carmel Beach Field School team.
